Burlington with Mom
The local links families use most: memory and dementia support, help at home, getting around and good things to do together this winter. Every link goes straight to the right page.
Sign Mom up for windrow clearing
The City clears the heavy ridge of snow the plow leaves at the end of the driveway, all winter. Registration is open until November 7, or until spots run out, and late sign-ups can't be added. It's $150 plus HST for the season, and people 65 and older get 50 per cent off. Sign up online, by phone at 905-335-7777, or in person at the Burlington Seniors' Centre.

Ontario Health atHome
Mom, a family member, a neighbour or her doctor can call to ask about help at home, as long as she agrees. After a few questions, they connect you with a care coordinator or a community program.
Weekly friendly visits
